Heavy Engineering Workshop (HEW)

A state-of-the-art workshop Equipped with sophisticated Machine Tools and Infrastructure facilities to manufacture Heavy Equipment and Technological structures in compliance to International Quality standards with capacity of 10,000 MT per Annum (Structural Fabrication) / 5,000 MT Equipment. Our workshop has valid accreditation from RDSO, DGQA and certification of ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 45001.

With requisite background, Technical Competencies / Skilled Manpower in the domain of Manufacturing & Supply of Equipment & Steel Structures for Thermal, Hydro Projects, Steel, Cement, Infrastructures, HME.

We have manufactured and supplied more than 1.24 lakh MT for Plants & Machinery/ Structural Fabrication Jobs since inception in 2003-04. This includes more than 34,625 MT of Steel Fabrications supplied to various projects through our esteem customer like TKIL, JSW, Tenova, Primetals to name few. Apart from it, we manufactured and supplied 40 numbers of Stackers & Reclaimers Machines out of which 7 numbers were against export orders. Recently, we have supplied Steel sector equipment to USA and Turkey for various projects. We are proud that supplied Steel Structures, Equipment are performing as per Technical specification and inline to Customer expectations thus far.

Field Expertise

Design, Manufacturing, Testing & Supply of Belt Conveyors (including Cross Country Type) with their supporting structures & junction house, Bucket Elevators, Stackers & Reclaimers (Linear/Circular/ Bucket Wheel types etc.) for Super Thermal Power Plants, Cement Industry, Coal Handling Plants.

Manufacturing of Various type of Gates used in regulating water flow in Hydro Power stations & Water supply in Thermal Power projects.

Process Equipment including Pressure Vessels for various applications.

Linear and Circular Stockpiles and their respective usage in the stacking & reclaiming of Coal, Limestone, Gypsum etc. in Cement plants and Power Plants.

Repairing & refurbishing of water eroded Pelton Wheel and Francis Turbine Runners along with their associated auxiliary items, with the aid of sophisticated Welding techniques followed by CNC controlled HVOF coating.

Our History

Established in year of 2002, with technical co-operation from Hazra Engg. International, Chicago & Steward M/cs. Company, Alabama (USA).
Resumed operations in Year 2003-04
Established as a Mechanical wing of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. (a turn-key supplier for Mega Hydro-electric projects) for manufacturing & supply of Hydro-mechanical equipment.
Having business alliance with PHB Weserhutte, Spain for supply of Stacker-Reclaimers and other equipments.
Registered supplier of RDSO for supply of Steel Bridge Girders & ROBs.
Recipient of ASME-U Stamp Certification, USA for manufacturing of Pressure Vessels.
Recipient of 5-star rating & Sword of Honour by “British safety Council U.K.” for 3 consecutive 03 years for maintaining highest norms of Safety, Health & Environment.

Our Philosophy

Corporate Social Responsibility

A holistic approach to overall socio-economic development.

The Group fulfills its social responsibilities through Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS) which is responsible for a deeper layer of progress that reaches out to communities through social development services, thus ensuring that as we grow so do the communities in the local environments, where we operate.

A Comprehensive Rural Development Program (CRDP) has been set up by JSS that benefits dozens of villages in different parts of the country. We are striving to build a satisfying and contented community – which is essential for a stronger nation. At Rewa in Madhya Pradesh where we have 3 cement plants, a heavy engineering workshop, an alloy steel foundary and a soya extraction plant. CRDP is being presently implemented in over 28 villages. The activities of CRDP are all people centric and include free medical camps, free animal care camps, literacy campaigns both for young girls and for adult education, delivering safe drinking water and creating water reservoirs in different villages, generating opportunities for self employment and multiple social activities including renovation of schools and hospital buildings in the adjoining adopted villages.
